Yeh Someone called A.Jonson then a couple of blokes called Scott&Campbell-Black sorry I guess you already know that,but I do know someone that has recently flown their Europa to S.Africa and is now planning a trip to Aus.Might be of some use if you live in E.Anglia.let us know Bye For Now

OOPS.methinks Scott&Campbell-Black went to S.Africa,my error,but maybe they went to AUS as well.Just putting in some humor.Seriously though spoke to one of the guys yesterday.They are planning Oshkosh 03 Via the far east and Aus.May be its you if so own up!!!! Bye For Now

Yeah, a mate of mine did in his own Cherokee in 1985. I think the best way to contact him is via the School of Biological Sciences, Macquarie University, NSW, Australia. An article about his adventures around Oz has appeared in Australian Geographic as well. I can't remember the issue. From memory I think he used Lockeed planning or Jepps. His name is Dr Harold (Hatch) Stokes. VH-HCS

Thanks for replies. UK to Aus is a dream of mine. Im PPL with about 100 hours only. So obviously need a few more hours, and much more cash! But am dreaming and still flying. I would welcome any discussion on the topic from interested parties. I watched the race recently with envy.
Oops just got hit with flood control, will be waiting my mandatory 270 seconds. Sort of like doing a right hand orbit for separation purposes in the circuit wouldnt you say?
