Question Auster J1 cirrus to continental engine conversion

Anyone flown or undertaken one of these conversions or know the wherabouts of any existing coversions.I know they,ve been done in the past ,what do they perform like.Any help appreciated.

Hi Stampe.

The guy to talk to, without any doubt, is Ron Neal at Leicester East.
You'll get him, via the Leicestershire Aero Club, on 0116 259 2360.
He used to work in the R.and D. Section at Austers in their Rearsby factory.
Absolute mine of info. and skill.Brilliant bloke.
