Downloading Met Info
Does anybody know of a web FTP site that I can access to download Met info. Things like TAF's F214's etc.. .. .The plan is to have an Excel macro that will get all of the Met that I need into one file with my other aviation calculation.. .. .BtB

I like. .. .http://www.phd.nl/aviation/wx/. .. .http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/aviation/index.html. .. .and. .. .http://www.theyr.com/ (although this seems to be down a lot at the moment - good when you can get to it). .. .The met office one is probably your best bet. It gives TAFs, METARs and Form 214 & 215's.

Try looking at . .. .http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/metar.shtml. .. .(Edit: that link instantly seems to have died - it is where the dutch site goes looking for TAF and METAR data. Honest ). . . . [ 28 March 2002, 17:33: Message edited by: Evo7 ]

BtB,. .. .Can you write a HTTP Get request to the specific URL - e.g. http://www.meto.gov.uk/aviation/tafmetar/images/F215_1824.gif. .. .Not sure how you cope with the authentication on the met site, tho.. .. .SD
