Downloading Met Info

Does anybody know of a web FTP site that I can access to download Met info. Things like TAF's F214's etc.. .. .The plan is to have an Excel macro that will get all of the Met that I need into one file with my other aviation calculation.. .. .BtB

I use <a href="http://www.met-office.gov.uk/aviation" target="_blank">www.met-office.gov.uk/aviation</a>. .. .Good luck

I like. .. .<a href="http://www.phd.nl/aviation/wx/" target="_blank">http://www.phd.nl/aviation/wx/</a>. .. .<a href="http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/aviation/index.html" target="_blank">http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/aviation/index.html</a>. .. .and. .. .<a href="http://www.theyr.com/" target="_blank">http://www.theyr.com/</a> (although this seems to be down a lot at the moment - good when you can get to it). .. .The met office one is probably your best bet. It gives TAFs, METARs and Form 214 & 215's.

Try looking at . .. .<a href="http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/metar.shtml" target="_blank">http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/metar.shtml</a>. .. .(Edit: that link instantly seems to have died <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="rolleyes.gif" /> - it is where the dutch site goes looking for TAF and METAR data. Honest <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="smile.gif" /> ). . . . <small>[ 28 March 2002, 17:33: Message edited by: Evo7 ]</small>

BtB,. .. .Can you write a HTTP Get request to the specific URL - e.g. <a href="http://www.meto.gov.uk/aviation/tafmetar/images/F215_1824.gif" target="_blank">http://www.meto.gov.uk/aviation/tafmetar/images/F215_1824.gif</a>. .. .Not sure how you cope with the authentication on the met site, tho.. .. .SD
