ILS Plate for Benson
Hello,
Does anyone know where I can get hold of an ILS (rwy19) plate for Benson.
I am after a source where I can get the info over and over rather than a one-off copy.
Thanks in advance.

Interesting URL
The full URL doesn't work, and going to the base one returns:

Good to see the Ministry of Defence using the latest technology
Jeppview has the mil plates in it if you pay for the "military" option; I believe it has Benson. But Jeppview is pretty pricey - about £2000/year for Europe.

As a matter of interest, many years ago the Benson ILS was on 110.60. This is not a normal ILS frequency but we had no trouble with Mrs Windsor's finest aircraft.
However, when I borrowed a civilian Islander to renew my IR some years later it caused a modicum of trouble.

AIDU approach plates
Are the AIDU plates now not available to non-military personnel?
Have tried the AIDU site for a set of approach plates and can't get past the log in page without entering name, rank and number!?

You can get a subscription to MILFLIP as a civilian. If you have any problem let me know and I'll take it up with the boss.
If you drop me a PM today with an adddress I'll happily e-mail the current plate(s) to you. (I'm off on holiday tomorrow morning)
It's a pity that the Mil take the Civil AIP for free but restrict access to the Mil one (it used to be available free) when it's official policy to encourage the use of Mil a/d by civilian traffic.

It would be brilliant if this really worked because there are quite a lot of these airfields.
What sort of landing fee do they charge?

RAF Cosford - Flying Information
Mil a/d are generally PPR and Crown Indemnity cover is required, hence the insurance request.
Landing fees are set out in JSP360 Chapter 7 Annex A which is not publicly available so you'd have to ask the station concerned.
I've landed at Lyneham, Yeovilton, Odiham and Middle Wallop without paying fees but that was for events where fees were waived. Another option is to contact the flying club if there is one on the base.

Watch out if you have an old Benson ILS plate - the frequency and ident changed about a year ago. I think the minima &c are the same but don't take my word for it.
