Books advice: FAA instrument and multi-engine

I am holder of a FAA PPL(A) SEL and I would now like to prepare for my multi-engine intrument. I am looking for advice on which books to buy for general knowledge and exam preparation.

For IR knowledge, I hesitate between:

- Jeppesen Instrument Commercial Manual (Jeppesen) - I like this one because it has a bit on the commercial exam as well
- FAA212 ASA Pilot's Manual Volume 3: Instrument Flying (ASA) - this one is cheaper

For theory prep, I was looking into:

- FAA Written Test Prep Instrument Rating (ASA)
- FAA013 ASA - Instrument Oral Exam Guide (ASA)
- I think Jeppesen does the equivalent

For multi general knowledge, I was considering:

- Transition To Twins (ASA)
- BTG908 Multi-Engine Piston - Robson (The Master Pilot's Manual)

And on the exam part I found this:
- FAA Oral Exam Guide Multi-Engine (ASA)
- Does Jeppesen do the equivalent?

Any comments on those choices or any other recommandation welcome!

Thanks a lot!

A.

Have you looked at the FAA site itself? The FAA publishes a series of books which contain everything you need for the respective exams.

The FAA's own Instrument Flying Handbook is an object lesson in concise clarity:

Highly recommended for IR study.
