Close call on video
In a thread on another forum about the 'GA pilot buzzes Santa Monica pier in a jet' incident, there was a link to this video:

Whether or not Mr. Holm was involved I don't really care about but this must certainly be one of the closest calls of almost CFIT ever recorded on video. The damage to the wing can even been seen at 2:05.
I'm a still a student pilot but this certainly is an excellent reminder not to continue into marginal conditions.
