Fly-away destinations in New South Wales
Hi all ppruners,
I moved from Brisbane to Sydney with the ink still wet on my PPL a couple of months ago. I resumed flying recently with Schofields in Bankstown (great club by the way) and already did a couple of scenic flights around the Sydney area, including Victor 1, which is truly amazing.
Now I'm looking for suggestions for fly-away destinations in New South Wales. Personally I could fly to any town that has a runway and a motel, but my wife would like to combine that with a nice week-end away. I guess that's fair enough.
Any suggestions? Romantic retreats or farm stays with a pick-up at the local airstrip? Any feedback or suggestions are more than welcome.
