Bentwaters
It's really just a quick thank you to whoever was aerobatting over Bentwaters this afternoon.
I was walking the dogs across the wintery fields and against a powder blue backdrop with occasional wisps of white and one cloud dyed all the colours of the rainbow by the light split from the setting sun was a small aeroplane rolling and looping and trailing smoke.
I haven't flown as much as I would have liked in the last couple of years and the sight of someone so clearly enjoying such a crisp and beautiful afternoon made me smile.
