Ppl/cpl

Being an absolute idiot when it comes to trawling through LASORS I was wondering if my esteemed colleagues on here may know to save me trying to get through to the CAA.
My PPL license is about to expire (Had it 5 years), but I hold an airline job with a fATPL, does my CPL supersede my PPL? can/do we have to hold them both together?
Obviously I can run my SEP class rating on my CPL but I was wondering if my PPL actually needs renewing?

Thanks for your help

I think your ppl was superseded long ago. Your ratings are transfered to your cpl. Thats certainly what happened with me.
