MOD Unmanned Aircraft Airspace Change

A note in our local newspaper today (13th June)

"MOD Unmanned Aircraft Airspace Change Proposal Notice of Consultation.

"The MOD hereby hereby gives notice of an Airspace Change Proposal under CAP 725 to establish segregated airspace, to accommodate unmanned air vehicle operations, to the South of the current Salisbury Plain danger areas. Consultation will run from 16 June to 29 September 2008.

"Full consultation details can be found on www.QinetiQ.com/airspace or copies may be viewed free of charge at any Wiltshire reference library."

Presumably the pilots will be somewhere in Arizona or thereabouts.
