We have a large map table in the briefing room at Popham. Totally inadequate. Their charts took up a huge amount of floorspace. Fortunately they'll only need one of them at a time. Have a good trip!

Apparently two goats should suffice. But only if slaughtered directly in front of the plane. Or am I confusing the mechanical god with the weather god? I never got the hang of those Hindi gods.

Here is a trip report about our Flight to Hungary in the AN2

HA-MKF is going back to Hungary! The flight was scheduled to be leaving Popham on 23rd March 2008 to have its Certificate of Airworthiness renewed, but the weather has not been kind so we have been delayed one week at the moment. The trip is approximately 1000nm and will take about two to three days (1- 2 night stops) at 85kts! If you would like to see the initially proposed route then click here. A full report of the outbound trip can now be found here. The aircraft will be away for about four weeks and then we will be going out at the end of April to collect it for its return to Popham.

Enjoy

Thanks for posting the report - that was quite some trip. I think I'll stick to the C150 as far as fuel and oil bills are concerned!
