Advice Sought
I am at present 14 hours in to my NPPL, my last lesson was early in November 07. I was then transferred to a new posting and unable to get back home for any lessons. I am now back home and anxious to start my training again. Do you think the length of time without a lesson will cause any problems. I was close to going solo at the time of my transfer and fear I may have forgotten to much.
Many Thanks,
Leon h.

I know the feeling and if I were you I wouldn't worry too much! Recently, when I had 14 hours in, I had to go nearly 10 weeks without flying due to working abroad (it happens regularly) and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I remembered. I'd gone solo before going abroad and, on returning, my usual Cessna 150 was out of action so I had to start training in the 172 instead. I went solo in that after 5 hours as well! I was surprised at how quickly it all came back to me. But don't be disappointed if your first flight isn't all that great...mine certainly wasn't!
Hope the weather stays good for your lessons

Many thanks jaycee58 that has put my mind at rest no end. The months without flying have been unbearable. I am now looking forward to my first lesson back.
Thanks again
