SLMG ?
OKAY, I've decided to add a SLMG to my license. The problem, should I do the training on a Grob 109b or a Super Dimona HK36. Your views much appreciated.

Grob 109's are nice to fly although the adverse yaw factor can make it interesting. Airbrakes on finals are novel when you are used to SEP approaches lol.

The dimona ( and I know the one you are taling about) is a fine machine, although a little over the top for motorglider training. Definately worth flying but I'd say learn on something else. The 109 is fine, however I believe, the ones you would learn on are 109As which aren't the best of the breed, free castoring tailwheel and all on tarmac with a small rudder masked by big fuselage. I'd go for learn on the T61, quick blast around in the 109A, then do all the rest of the flying in the dimona. The T61 at the very least will get your feet working on the peddals.
