Virgin unveils spaceship designs

Virgin Galactic has released the final design of the launch system that will take fare-paying passengers into space.
It is based on the X-Prize-winning SpaceShipOne concept - a rocket ship that is lifted initially by a carrier plane before blasting skywards. The Virgin system is essentially a refinement, but has been increased in size to take eight people at a time on a sub-orbital trip, starting in 2010.

Questions:
1. Is this an IFR \ VFR Flight ?
2. Can I fly this puppy on a PPL with type rating ?
3. Who controls ATC in outer space ?
4. What will the inflight catering be like (out of this world ?) ?

Answers
1. SFR (Space Flight Rules)
2. It depends on the CAA interpretation of a $100,000 ticket being "valuable consideration" So might need an ATPL.
3. Flow control in Brussels, they control everything else, or would like to!!
4. Probably supplied by Moon Base Alpha Catering (See what I did there?) More than likely it will be as inedible as normal food, and still served with a plastic knife just in case!!
