I just realised that I have given up reading any of them as I'm not sure which one I should be reading, even though I am very interested in the subject.

I think there are a number of aspects to this. A single thread makes it very difficult to follow one element in which you might be interested.

At the very least:

1. There is the matter of the petition - how that is going, and whether or not it is a good idea,

2. Then there are specific issues concerned with EASA,

3. and then there is the issue of the IMCr

Thread drift is inevitable, but an effort to focus on the seperate elements makes sense to me.
