Does anyone sell US sectionals in the UK?

All I've seen is Transair selling Florida sectionals. I'm interested in Seattle. Any ideas?

You can get the entire country on a Cd for about $15 plus postage. Try Sportys..the paper copies are relatively cheap and they will air mail them to you. Or wait till you go to the States most airfields sell them.

Also try skyvector.com for online charts.

Usually cheaper than Sporty's, I buy stuff from Arizona Aviation Supplies at Prescott in Arizona (http://www.flyaas.com/). They have a good online shop and ship stuff quite promptly.

The owner is a guy called Randy Faunce who is one of the most obliging people in the business.

With the exchange rate as it is, you would be crazy not to. Even with the postage costs it's all rather good value

US Sectionals

Hi KCDW,

There is a good US shop called www.avshop.com who can send you charts, if that's any help?

Alternatively they will cost you around $15/16 each when purchased at the school that you go to.

I just ordered from http://www.flyaas.com/ No mention of postage charges on the form anywhere, just $8.60 plus tax. So will wait and see...

Thanks all

Last lot I bought from Avshop (Denver and Vegas sectionals) were cheaper than most and postage was either free or a buck from Florida.

Delivery to deepest Surrey took about a week. There is a tracking facility that allows you to see how far your package has got.

Worked for me.

You're right. He emailed and reminded me that the new sectionals are out on Dec 20th, so we're holding off till then.

I find that in the US, you either get some of the best or some of the worst service (check out Century 21 in Manhattan for a shopping nightmare). Fortunately Randy is in the former category.
