Help! We're buying a twin.
It looks a little rough, but the price is good.
You can easily spend another 100K on good paint and new avionics.

Thank you - Here's the result.
I wish to thank all of you who added input to our "buying a twin" process.
We have being mulling over all options on a serious basis for a couple of weeks now and one thing keeps coming back to us; is the fact that there really isn't a huge selection of options in the piston area, we keep drifting towards PT6s'.
In laying out all our options to the WADS (wives and daughters / sons), they were a little reluctant to be flying around in a 20 year old twin even if it had only had one careful little old lady owner!
We did locate some ex forces Cessna 404s' and they were really beat up!
So the WADS suggested we could expand the budget a little - they opened the door a little and we just steam rollered it right off its hinges!
So with the help of our respective accountants, each of our four companies are going to be buying a quarter share in a C90 (probably a B model)
Tripled the budget, 3000' strips will be only done in our singles (home port is 4500' paved) only two possible destinations are out of the specs for the C90, but we will be travelling in style!
My eldest daughter who is currently hour building actually smiles and talks to me again (how fickle she is) and all us four consortium "brothers" are going into this with a little nervousness as this is really getting into the big time (well it is for us!!!).
Anyhow thanks again to all you PPruners and smooth flying.
