Aztec crash in 70s.
My dad, Don Adams flew at EMFS in 60-70s,up to failing his medical in late 70s. He was in a plane crash in a twin, 1970-75 ish, and wonder if anyone recalls anything about it. I saw the photos when I was a kid in the 70s,and my dad had a couple of black eyes from it.

Hi Duncan, I have just seen your post regarding your dad and the crash of a light twin. I did my instructors rating and twin engine rating with Hector Taylor at East Midlands in around 1974. Pretty sure the accident was in the Piper Apache I did my twin rating in. I vaguely remember it was flying back from Europe and both engines stopped and they managed to force land it in a field. Rumour has it Hector was in the back but was first out the door 😊. Not sure about that but they did a good job and all walked away. I’m guessing around 1974/5
