Tradewinds Flight School, Ft Pierce, Fl(recomendations?)
Hi, have just read an ad in todays pilot for the above school quoting £3000 for a ppl course. Seems pretty good value to me, the website gives off a good impression, long established family business and all that. Just wondered if anyone knows about tradewinds and can offer any positives or negatives?
Many thanks, andy(southampton,uk)

Tradewinds
I've just had my first flight with Trade Winds today, Ernie was excellent. I'm actually with EFT hour building, but due to unavailability of aircraft I went across the ramp first thing this morning, and was flying within the hour. The experience couldn't be more different than EFT / AriBen.
I would recommend Trade Winds, very friendly, family run, helpful, aircraft well maintained and in nice condition.
Best of luck

Hi Guys,
Any other comments on this school?
I'm planning for some time build in the USA and found this school.
Can you please share experiences on time building.
Thanks
Bruno

There several schools at Fort Pierce, among others also Aviator and European Flight Training; when I was at EFT earlier this year there were also several European pilots building hours (on PA28 or C172). Suggest you contact all schools and compare the program, facilities and costs.
