Does anyone know if there are any Glasair 3's on the UK register?

Including a turboprop.

if you look at the PFA website it doesnt seem to mention the glasair III !
Would love to have one with a 200/300hp engine for aero s ... full glass cockpit as well . now that would be nice !

PFA Permits normally only cater for engines up to 260hp so the III's on the UK reg are probably all CAA Permits with 300hp motors under the cowling.

G-ICBM is 450hp IIRC with a 5 blade reversing pitch prop.... Glasair made some turbine versions themselves 10+ years back when they were after a US military trainer contract. This example will be a work of art seeing as it comes from the same stable as the Berkut, G-REDX.

Anyone notice a bit of a mistake on 'BM in the picture?

That'll be what I saw too, Flap40. The word is that it is off to Mick Allen's paintshop at Turweston ( http://www.allenaircraftresprays.co.uk ) in the not too duistant future so I'm sure it'll get put right then!
