In no particular order:
White Waltham - EGLM
Andrewsfield - EGSL
Headcorn (aka Lashenden) -EGKH
All three have great settings and a friendly clubhouse !
...... and if you're looking for excitement then try Lundy Island

Assuming you mean 'Merrie Engerland' and airfields therein only then:-

Scilly Isles - hard

Lands End - grass

Lundy Island -grass

Isle of Wight (Sandown) - grass

Wellesbourne (for Stratford) - hard

Cromer (for Cromer) - grass

Sheffield - hard (& God's Own Country)

Bournemouth for the approach and taxiing past 747s and KC-10's parked alongside. North Weald for the bacon buttie and howl of a Vampire being fired up.

Must visits

White Waltham for the pure variety of aircraft to be seen there, the aeros practices in the overhead and a good choice of grub whilst you're watching.

.............and an airfield with a helluva history.

Hello All I'd just like to Point out that Oaksey is now strictly PPR as They have a movements Limit due to planning. The only Exception to this is for the two Fly In's per year they're allowed. So If you do decide to visit Please give Dick Thrush the airfield manager a ring before you set out. ( The number's in Pooleys etc)

If you're looking for somewhere to visit next weekend why not drop into the Wiltshire Flyers Fly In on Sunday 17th September. (see new thread for details)
