Winter hols in the Alps

Hello folks,
Last Christmas the whole Footless clan decamped to the French Alps for 2 weeks skiing holiday. Morzine. And very nice it was too.
I couldn't help noticing some Powered Paragliders mooching around while I was ski-ing or in town and I have to say that, notwithstanding skiing, I couldn't help thinking 'I'd rather be flying'. Not sure whether you can do it with a JAR PPL?
Does anyone know, or have direct experience of Powered Paragliding in the French Alps? Is there a school that you can enrol in for a couple of weeks while the others concentrate on ski-ing, or apres-ski-ing, or whatever floats their boat?
Sorry if it's obvious from google, but a brief googling experience drew more or less a blank for me.
Any assistance gratefully received.
