Flight Supplies in NYC

I am heading over to New York shortly and with the current exchange rates I am feeling in the mood to upgrade my headset and maybe get a few bits and pieces ahead of the CPL/IR. Just wondering if anyone knows/can recommend any flight supplies shops either in NY (staying in Manhattan) or a short drive away - say an hour or so. Will probably get a rental for a day or two as the little lady will no doubt want to hit the outlet malls hard.

Thanks.

If you know what you want you can get items shipped to the local UPS/Fedex locations from anywhere in the US (UPS Stores are likes fleas over in the US, warning they are shops and not big depots like the UK) and marked hold at location.

All you need to do then is pick the item up from the store and bingo.

Got a Lowrance Airmap 2000C with international database for under £400 that way.

Remember to declare all to customs

Thanks for your help folks, I think I can sniff myself a bargain and might just be able to justify a nice ANR headset given the exchange rates.
