More flying in Greece
Hi all, here's some of my pics, hope you enjoy them despite the quality
Marathi and Arkioi Islands in the East Aegean, near Patmos Island
Skiathos Island (LGSK) on Christmas Day!
The old town & castle monastery, in the "Holy" Island of Patmos where exiled St. Jonh wrote The Revelation (or Apocalypse) in 95 AD in a cave.
A sad sight in the distance; Marathon Airfield (LGMR): what was once a general aviation playground is now a nearly abandoned Olympic Rowing Center installation.
Marathon lake; the dam was built in 1926 to supply Athens with water and was made entirely of marble stones from nearby Mt. Pendeli which actually makes it unique in the world
Aphrodite's Island, Milos (LGML)
Milos Island airport (LGML)

Just discovered this thread

So lets see if it works:
Grand Canyon from 1400ft above rim in a clapped out Arrer April 04
Cusco
OK the link works, why doesn't the pic come up?
link was too long.
EDITED in PUZZLEMENT
When you say 'link was too long' can you explain to an oldie what you mean?
I followed big red L's instructions to the letter: even got myself a sub. to Photobucket: They gave me the link.
Shirley if I shorten it it won't be my picture you see?.
Cusco.

Out of interest, why can't one post pictures on this site directly? One can do it on all the other off the shelf "www-BBS" implementations.
One could even limit picture upload rights to people who have paid up

The server upload function would trim the pics to say 640x480. That would reduce a good quality jpeg to under 100k.
This is standard practice - look at Ebay for example.

I clicked on the link in your post, there is a 'pic name' to the left of the picture size undereath the picture.
I clicked on that and a new picture opened up. I right clicked on that and copied the image properties and used that as it is shorter.
