Some more....
Looking up the Argentière glacier:

And starting to fly up it:

Short finals to Alpe d'Huez:

The tip of the Glacier du Tour:

Parked on the Talèfre glacier:

Final turn to land on the curved, sloping, 350m long "runway" at Mont Gerbier des Joncs, the source of the river Loire:

Can I have one of these please?

But I'll keep the one I've already got.

Nice pictures - anyone want a job

Really enjoyed looking at this thread - and we may be recruiting a full time aerial photographer soon - applications from all the above would be seriously considered! Keep it up.

Here's a few from my collection. All taken in the days before I had a digital camera, so the quality may not be too good as I've had to scan the photos in.
Alderney - must try and get back there this year, haven't been for ages now

Snow, and show showers over the Brecon Beacons

The Belle Tout lighthouse on the cliffs near Beachy Head

OK a quick quiz - can you identify this airfield (Hint it was apparently the RAF's smallest airfield in WWII)

And finally, this one's too good not to include, but it comes with a health warning: Don't try this at home folks

Bump. Superb - love Brighton pier shot.

Anyone got a decent aerial pic of Lydd or Headcorn? Will complete my collection of "airfields I've been to without a camera"

On final for runway 21 Tucson International (and yes, slightly off the centreline). If you look carefully you can see rows for ANG F-16's just to the right of the runway. It was 118 degrees F on the ground that day!
