vfr flying in Italy

Any information on VFR flying in Italy would be very welcome, and any feed-back about military transit approval would be helpful.

The Italian AIP (in English) is here. (You need to register, but it's free).

There are a number of threads about flying in Italy on another forum, one of which is here and another here.

A bunch of regulars from that other place are planning a UK-Italy trip this Summer. They have some pages up here.
