Exclamation Met Office website struggling under the pressure?

Anyone else having problems with the Met Office website this morning? Sometimes I can get the homepage to load (slowly), but click on a link and it gets upset. Too many people panicking about the snowy weather?

Unfortunately this seems to be typical of 'official' aviation websites in this country.
The AIS website is also an absolute bag of bolts and seems to be run on an old ZX Spectrum. Actually scratch that, my old zx never crashed anywhere near as often.

It can't be that difficult to get it sorted, PPRUNE manages it and I'll bet there are more people using this site. Let alone something like ebay.

Hm. 11:02 I logged into both AIS and Met Office and obtained NOTAM data from AIS and METARS / TAFS from the Met Office.

No fault found

Are you sure the problem isn't somewhere between the chair and the keyboard?

Not yesterday afternoon it didn't. I had to go and do some work instead. Most disconcerting.

Worked fine for me just now - perhaps its an ISP/Telecoms problem.
