Have any ppruners had any experience of ownership/operation of one of these german aircraft? I hear tales of expensive spares and a spar mod that is not easy to fulfil. I'd be grateful for any pointers as I could be in the market for one.

Thanks for that morismarina. That was pretty much the impression I got when I had a short flight in one. Who do you get to do the maintenance and are spares, if required, expensive and available? Any info would be very helpful.
