Fuel at Alderney?

Anyone know of the current fuel situation in Alderney? Planning to go on Sunday. Just checked Notam which suggests fuel not available for another couple of weeks. Seem to remember reading in mags that should be available from the 1st.

O.K, which do you think is likely to be more accurate. NOTAMs or something written in a magazine?

Answers on a postcard..

You could always try ringing the airfield and asking them

Not sure when it is available from but Alderney Electricity are supplying it and they have a number for AVGAS so I suggest you give them a call.

Nice Golf course up there and plenty of friendly hospitality.

If you stay for food Nellie Gray's was good for curry last time I was there or you could try Georgian House for excellent Steaks & traditional food.

Have fun.

Fuel was due to begin 05-SEP, but the refueller at Guernsey on Wednesday said that things were being delayed for a week or two. No clues to pricing policy either ...
