Talking Seething Air Show.

Just got back from the show at Seething.
The lady has asked me to post a thank you to all those who helped make the display and the day a really good one.
The flying was terrific and the organization excellent.
Thank you to all who contributed to giving us a really great day's outing.

Sorry I couldn't make it guys; circumstances dictated that I be elsewhere so I popped along to Redhill instead.

Sounds like I missed a good one. Hope to make the next one - next year I might even have an aircraft to fly in!

Cheers

Wx. Pretty good really. The odd shower but the real problem for the flyers was the wind.
Pretty much straight across 06/24 @ about 20kts?
Great job of aviating. One Spitfire, I think it was, didn't arrive due to X wind at point of departure.
Good day, will pencil it in for next year.

The wind was a BIG factor - 16G20 and onto the crowd, when I departed for my display slot.

The other problem that affected the guys immediately behind me was the ceiling. I started my first maneouver 200' and 10kts, lower than I normally aim to do and pulled the power back an inch and a half so that my flick at the top of the loop was not into cloud! After that pretty plain sailing but the on-crowd wind really had to be tackled early in each pass.

Good day out for self and tKf.
