I used the confuser to revise for all my exams and got 96% or better in all of them.
The questions are similar but it seemed to me that there were always a couple that wern't in the confuser, but if you have studied trevor thom then you will probably have a good chance at those too.
my advice is study T.T. and self test, then do the confuser untill you get 100% every time then go for it.

From: I have no idea but the view's great.
Try airquiz.com - I'm a complete technical buffoon and it helped me to make sure I was at the right level to take the exam and remember you only have to pass, they don't print your exam scores on your licence.
As to whether that's enough technical knowledge to be safe I'll leave it to others to decide.
