I've managed to script a little magic. Perfect for spotting that little farm strip!

absolutely brilliant! been searching for milton (near peterborough) for a few days, even took a drive out there. could not find a thing! then at the risk of getting my car extremely messy by running over highly inquisitive pheasants (sp?) i came home.
knew those hangar like buildings were hiding something..

One I've always had trouble finding -
http://multimap.com/map/photo.cgi?sc...89&mapsize=big
tKF, I 'believe' it is connected to the ordnance survey in some respect.
Happy New Year,
Jack.

That's great. But I hope you didn't spend too long on it; fly.dsc.net has done this for months. There are about 2000 UK airfields in there, plus millions of worldwide towns, cities, aviation waypoints etc, though you only get photo links for the UK..

Thanks for the praise everyone. I know various other sites including ukga.com have aerial photos but these are not available at a glance all on the same page.
The lat/long data is taken from thehanger.co.uk. I implemented a routine to convert DMS to D.DD and then place tha values of lat and long inside the URL. A bit of Excel formulary done the rest.

I'm not getting a single pop up. This, even without a pop-up blocker enabled. I suspect some people have spyware / hidden advertising bots on their PC which are being triggered as a result of visiting this website.
