I'm an aviation enthusiast thinking about starting with my flying lessons aged 22.

Anybody in the Liverpool/Manchester area with free seats please give me a message, willing to add money towards fuel etc. It's just for the bit of experience

An empty seat next to you while you're flying?

I discovered the pleasure of flying in Oregon a few years ago. Would enjoy to join a friendly pilot in my age rank 53-58 flying solo for short trips this Summer or in October anywhere in the USA. I like to see things from above and the stops in little airports, it can be such an adventure sometimes! Cloe

Angel Yak 52

Hi all. I'm in West Sussex and looking for a ride in a 52 this week or next. I'm in the process of buying an airplane and was due to be doing a conversion this week but the dreaded air leak has struck! I'd love to just get up in the air with someone, happy to pay all expenses, lunch, beer whatever and happy to travel.....pleeeesse!!

I should have a 52 based in Shoreham by the end of May. Just trying to tie up engineers and weather for a flight test and inspection then annual and lifetime extension. I plan to offer some shares in due course but that's for another day!

Flying opportunities

Hey everybody
This is actually my first post to Pprune after signing up today, after lots of poking about i was so glad to find this thread as i am worried about the cost of aircraft hire and keeping up regular experience once i have gained my PPL (a couple of months)
I am located just around the corner from Blackbushe airport, once qualified i would be seeking a 'flying buddy' perhaps you'd like to split the hire rate or would like a contribution towards the running of your own aircraft.
I am a Aerospace tech graduate working currently as a control systems engineer (non aero) easy to get on with and ill bring alot of enthusiasm on board.

if anybody is in a similar position as me or if you have alot of experience and wouldn't mind coaching a newbie I would be extremely grateful to share some of your knowledge.

have fun up there everybody

Dear Mattrobins,
I have read your post regarding your wish to share flying experience and the most important the cost with another flyer.
I am a PPL ( A ) holder myself with more than 226 total hours and more than 70 solo hours, doing my ATPL course meanwhile.
I usually flying from my local airfield ( Elstree ),I will be very happy to exchange flying experience and sharing the cost with another flight mate.
Please let me know.
Best regards,

Dimitrios Agiasofitis

Hi Dimitrios
Thanks for your reply, I know Elstree very well as I went to university just up the A1 in Hatfield, maybe i should have started my flying sooner when I lived local. I would be so grateful to share your experience and knowledge, again I have a long way to go but im hoping to be qualified by September with the bulk of flying completed in a c152, can I ask what you normally fly?

I will of course update on progress, hope to meet you in the near future
Matt

Looking for a spare seat across the channel to France

I am looking for a spare seat to 'experience' a flight across the channel to France, Le Touqet, Abberville, Calais or any close French region.

My school doesn't have a fly out for a while to get cross channel checked.. so I just want to sit in as a pax and listen to the radio procedures etc to get familiar.

I am based in Essex and can get to Stapleford, North Weald, Thurrock, Dayms Hall, Southend relatively easily.

A bit further away Elstree and Denham.

Ta!

Scoobster.

PB, just curious, but what constitutes "minimum farting" in the context of a ride in a Scottish farmer's Maule?

Is there anyone in the Kent/South East with a spare seat available? I am a student pilot and don't mind contributing towards costs.

Relatively short Very ght tomorrow?

Going from Rochester to Stow Maries fly-in, then North Weald and back to Rochester. Anyone interested in riding shotgun, PM me quickly. Reasonably early start, 10.00?

Bentwaters anyone?

We have permission to fly into Bentwaters next Sunday October 4th - a rare thing to be allowed to visit home of the Grace spitfire and Cold War Museum. I've up to 2 seats available from Rochester (and back ) for anyone wishing to join in what might be a full day. If two takers, can take turns in righthand seat. PM me about yourself if interested - ideally let me know email/mobile.
