Question Booker glider

I'm told there was a glider apparently stuck in a tree on the edge of Booker airfield this morning. Does anyone know the story?

Booker Glider

I'd heard (and I stress 'heard') that an experienced glider pilot returning from a cross-country task was making an approach with airbrakes extended when he felt his approach was compromised by a flying wardrobe (glider pilot terminology for a vintage glider). Instead of closing the brakes, and landing long, it's reported he tried to do a 360 degree turn from an obviously marginal position, didn't make it and ended up in a tree. I gather the pilot was unhurt (apart from his pride, no doubt) and that they might need a crane to get it out.
