I might make it, possibly in formation with the wonderfully rustic machine flown by AB and G the E. Do I need to book anywhere here or is it just PPR with Sandown on the day?

EDITED: I found the "hangar" booking page and have slotted myself in.

I may possibly (yet to be confirmed) have a spare seat in the back for someone of a slightly adventurous persuasion that has no objection to a slightly drafty ride.

VP959 - It would be an honour to fly in formation with you. How loose that formation is will depend on whether it's GtE or myself flying.

I could perhaps be persuaded to do a shuttle service from Goodwood, but that might not work for Surrey.

Very kind words Aerbabe. I've done some formation flying with GtE once, but didn't get very far away from him as I was in the back seat at the time...........

I suspect my newly acquired machine will cruise at about the same leisurely speed as your wonderful "G-FART", about 50 or thereabouts.

Ok, so far we have 17 aircraft turning up with 33 people on board. That is without the people who have not signed the register on the fly-in page. If you fancy coming then please sign the page to give us a good indication of how many will be there.

Rustle, there are so far, two spare places from WAC, two from Southampton and one with VP959.

Just been to register on the fly-in and BRL already did it!!

Could be PA38 or 28... if the latter may well have a spare seat

Greetings!

There's a reasonable chance I will hove into view with a couple of natives of my airfield. Won't sign up until it's confirmed, but will keep checking here in case it gets so busy we're allocated slots or something!

Can't get the link to work to register, but I might come, though it's a long way for me. If anyone wants a lift from Sleap or thereabouts - in a C150, not a helicopter - send me a pm.

I would think to fly into as well.

Can someone / anyone confirm to me that if I fly to Bembridge with the hard one I can then be walking to Sanddown? I cannot be taking my shared aeroplane into grass it would seem

Many many thanks

(1) obligatory fnaarr, fnaarr

(2) bpilatus, get your group to change their rules! Small aeroplanes like grass as much as moo cows do (though be careful that the moo cows don't eat the aeroplanes). Withiout checking the map, it must be about 5 earth miles walk from one airfield to the other. Perhaps one of us could hop over and pick you up.
