Why do we want to meet him?!!!!!!!!!

Is this fly-in for a specific type?

AerBabe 16th Mar 2004 14:03

We want to meet him cos he's a lovely bloke. Yes, there's lovely, eh boyo? What type do you want to bring, TB?

Hi ToryBoy. A little history lesson now. Old LowNSlow works in khazakstan or somewhere like that, it is very far away. Everytime there is a fly-in, him being a popular bloke and all that and wanting to be there to see us all again, has managed to be working everytime.

This time, I suggested he give us a date for a fly-in and we work it out around that. So we have.

Fly-in open to anyone at all. You can fly-in in anything you like, obviously, the more unique the better. :)

Pink_aviator 16th Mar 2004 17:50

WHOOPEEE

Does that mean I can fly in on my pink winged "my little pony"

OH PLEASE , CAN I ,CAN I .

PINKSTER (grooming, her "little pony ,to be ready "

Monocock 16th Mar 2004 23:25

Having read LowNSlows pearls for the last year or so I feel duty bound to attend.

This I shall be doing in my Luscombe but I would rather make it Sandown than Kemble for two reasons.

1. Sandown has a proper runway surface.

2. I might as well cycle if it is to be Kemble.

NinjaBill 16th Mar 2004 23:48

After passing my skills test on sunday, ill hopefull have my licence in time to attend, depending on the speed of the CAA.

Can I vote for sandown, cos its the furthest away,

LowNSlow 17th Mar 2004 03:26

Kind words Aerbabe & BRL , I thank you. What was that charity you were collecting for???

monocock why don't you fly to another airfield and give somebody a lift? That way you justify the flying (like you need to, hah) plus you cheer up a potential ppruner. :ok: :ok:

Pinkster with 'my little pony' I can't wait ;) Does knobbygb know his nickname is 'my little pony'. :ooh: :ooh:

kingy are you going to bring the Ebay Airthrappler?

Toryboy that's what my kids usually say. We're not related are we :D :D

NinjaBill well it's Paddy's Day today and the fly-in will be in 8 weeks time. Mmmmm cutting it close!!!

foxmoth 17th Mar 2004 03:37

This time, I suggested he give us a date for a fly-in and we work it out around that. So we have.
So- what IS the date, it does not seem to be on this thread and I have not seen another.

LowNSlow 17th Mar 2004 06:20

Foxmoth well spotted that Ppruner ;)

I'll make a bold statement in a democratic manner and narrow it down on the 3rd or 4th July cos that'll be in the middle of my leave. No matter how much the muppet I work for screws around with it, I'll make that weekend.

Any strong feelings from people who would be prevented from aviating on this weekend?

Did I mention Paddy's Day earlier on. The one and only Irish pub in our part of Kazakhstan has run out of Guinness :{ :{ :{ B:mad:y moronic Jockanese manager :ouch: :ouch:

ToryBoy 17th Mar 2004 07:48
