Hey Bill, I know you've said that the Sherburn Cap ain't got no DI, but if you go looking for Sibson near Cambridge our meeting may be long delayed. You can stonk down the A1 at 125 knots, but things will slow up a bit once in the wheezy old dog (pictured, with apologies for pop-ups)

Lets hope for dry weather and no crosswind!

Taking a trip this Thursday to check it out, never been to Sandown before.

They have an inaugural flyin this Sunday.

Also note their new A/G freq of 119.275.

Checkout http://www.iowflyingclub.co.uk for details!

I'm going to ask for NO landing fee, and a hog roast/BBQ.

Lets see where that gets us......

Maybe a couple of quid per A/C will seem more attractive then

I've added myself and the Yak, so see you all there. Still have a seat spare, given that AB is arriving by self-propelled deckchair, and both the Photographic Gentlemen are on duty at Old Warden that day, so if anyone doesn't mind a noisy uncomfortable ride and wants to fly from Sywell or somewhere reasonable en route, let me know.

I'll try to get a land-away trial lesson, so at least say hello for half an hour. Otherwise, if I can get time off, is anyone interested in flying in from Bournemouth? I can get an aircraft at staff rates (about £100 per hour airborne in a 4-seater, so around £60-£80 the round trip plus landing fee if we fly directly there), so cost sharing should make a reasonable rate for the impoverished.

Sounds good... 'fraid I'll only be adding to the spamcan quotient, though

Depending on the other half's desire to attend/me booking a PA28 there would be a lift from Redhill in the offing... PM me if interested...

Fly-in

Lowtimer,

Is the spare seat in the Yak still on offer? (Although I'm sure my mother told me something about getting lifts with strangers)!!

Cheers

GQ, he's not that strange. A little peculiar, but perfectly safe. It's him I'd be more worried about.

I agree with Aerbabe, Lowtimer isn't strange. Not like that Evo. He's just plain weird. Spends too much time ordering people about on the internet if you ask me.

It's a Yahoo Groups problem, Rustle. I did think about asking on the Computers/Internet forum, but that new moderator might let the power go to his head, and ban me for asking a silly question.
