I was doing the amendments to my Flight Guide last night and discovered that the published frequency for Sandown, 123.500 has now changed to 119.275
So if like me, you are a first time visitor to Sandown and were going to rely on your map and flight guide, make a note now!!

I still MIGHT make it, but...
Today - driving for two hours each way to a helicopter school that might have regular work for me.
Friday - driving for even longer to fly a helicopter to write about it for one of the mags.
Saturday - instructing all day at the present helicopter school, which rarely gives me any work so I'm not turning this down.
In between - trying to finish a time-critical, long, and complicated report for the day job, which is supposed to be more or less full time, and which still pays for the flying. And I have two days out next week, one for instructing and one for the PFA Rally.
Even if I can somehow fit it all in, I'm not sure that over four hour's flying when I'm sure to be tired and haven't had any time off for ages and ages is really sensible.
Does anyone know how to make eight-day weeks or 30-hour days?
If I don't get there, have fun. If I do come, I'm bringing Whirlygig (two Whirlys in a C150 )

Kolibear,
Well spotted. Wycombe and I found that out when we went a couple of weeks ago, and I meant to post a warning nearer the time but you've beaten me to it. So, instead I'll just have to content myself by reminding everybody that there's a major gliding competition starting at Lasham on the 3rd and continuing until the 11th.
FNG,
Unfortunately, we won't be able to accomodate you, as we'll be in the wrong C-172. For those who don't think that 172s are even remotely wacky in any way, I can only say that one of ours is, or at least its registration says so : G-WACY

FNG,
I would be interested in trading rides in wacky aeroplanes.

Damn,
Bit of a crisis with my usual aircraft, (apparently someone heavy landed it) but I've managed to get a PA28 from Goodwood on the Sunday only from noon till 4:30pm. Should be there by 12:30. Hope you'll all still be around by then

Planning to arrive around 12.00 with Jenni Morton. Com Box is inop so we'll try the handheld and if the batteries pack up Jenni will shout out of the window.

Not so bad!
Steve/BRL thanks for the w/x info, forecast doesn't seem too bad now, so will have to judge it on the day, as usual.
Hope to see you all there!
Watch out for the balloons around Southampton.
