Absolutely superb weather here today so managed to get up there. Had not flown for a while, so took it easy with a few circuits at first followed by some stalls and steep turns, then topped off with a couple of PFLs. Altogether a good workout and very enjoyable.

Woke up Saturday morning, viz rubbish, drover over to my flying club anyway, drank their coffee, went home.

Went on a long distance cross country from Rush Green via the A1 IFR departure from the Luton Zone to Old Warden. Leave the zone via the A1 follow the road to Biggleswade (5 mins) turn left for 2 mins and Old Warden appeared in the haze. It was even faster on the way back!
