Streamline tube wanted in the UK
Help!
Do any of you UK based folk have any 1" x 0.049" 4130 streamline tube.
I have some on order with Skycraft but it may not be here (ex USA) until mid Feb. I have tried all the usual suspects but it is as rare as rocking-horse poo.
I need 10' to finish off the cabanes on my project - that is the last bit of fuselage welding. Soon as they are stuck on, I can send the fuse off for powdercoating and then get on with fitting it out and covering it. I've already finished the wings and need the fuselage finished so that I can mount them, make up the I struts and then cover the wings.
I know of another UK builder (RM in Notts) who needs the same spec stuff.

stik I've got a set of Piper Cub wing struts which are perfectly serviceable except that I've cut the ends off. You're welcome to them if they suit your purposes. They are about 1" thick......
