These are great - I love the one of the banana shaped runway!
Aerobatic Flyer - would you mind if I borrowed a couple of your pictures, not for commercial use, of course, just to send to some friends?
Can you tell us the story behind the inverted snow plough?

The accident was caused by the right ski on the Jodel hanging down slightly at the frong. It dug into the snow, and flipped the aeroplane onto its back. Moral: do a proper pre-flight check before each take-off, even if you've only stopped for a short time.

Aerobatic Flyer
Thank you on both counts! The ski plane fly ins will start up here shortly, but hopefully none will end up like the one in your picture!
I don't know if its okay to add this to this collection, plus, as they are not my pictures, I am including the link rather than adding the actual pictures on here but....... This guy takes photos from a kite, and, as the article says, the pictures are on display at the EAA museum at the moment. The pictures taken over the ice are absolutely stunning and well worth taking a look at...

My friend who I took flying a few weeks ago just sent me these photos, so I thought i'd haul this topic back up
I've been flying around this area for quite a while now and only just noticed this! I was impressed anyway! Its a couple of miles SE of Calveley as far as I remember
Calveley is South of Oulton Park (SE of Liverpool zone)
I like this one too:
This is a good one from when he was on an exercise...
Spikeee
edit: ow its only added the links!

P.S. Would someone let me know if this link is working, please?
P.P.S. Click on "pictures" in the left-hand column. There are 28 to look at.

Le Touquet
Hello! Here are some pictures I shot when my instructor and I flew down to Le Touquet in the Summer
1) 'Cap Griz Nes'
2) Approaching 'Cap Griz Nes', mid channel
3) Leaving England for a few hours; heading South, position: six miles East of 'Dover Port'
4) Overview of 'Dover Port'
5) 'Boulogne Sur Mer'... wow, last time I was there was four/five years ago on my first school trip... and was at 0 ft. AGL as opposed to 2,500!
6) The port at 'Boulogne'
7) Some beautiful sand formations en route 'Boulogne -> Le Touquet'
8) 'Zulu November', the fine girl that got us there safely and in which I will be undertaking my first solo in one week's time! (I will discount the close encounter with two fighter jets along the French coast!)

Yes I did. We were lucky enough to be formated (sp) on by these guys on the way back from Kemble a couple of months ago. Fired off half a dozen piccies and reckon not many can match the experience. We were in a Cessna 172 at the time and they were in a huge orbit waiting to display at Lyneham we believe. We were lucky sods that day
