GST passed - now for some cheap flying?

Passed my GST today.

After being out of Cherokees for ten years or so, I passed my GST today (yipee). I felt pleased that it took only 3 hours of revision before taking the NST & GST, but then again I've had quite a bit of micro experience recently so that should have helped to some degree.

What now though?

I'm North West based and anticipate about 20 hours group A flying a year - anyone know of any groups or syndicates in the NW that will provide reasonably cost effective group A flying, preferably Barton, Liverpool or Blackpool? Don't mind less hours if its something really interesting or vintage.

thanks

Tony

PS - Loved the post about the microlight departing manchester - especially the bit about the Concorde pilot being a student flex wing pilot. Fantastic.

Tony,

Well done - now you just have to wait for the licence. Or is it quicker if you used to have one?
