Links not showing

I'm recently fiding many posts aparently with links but none visible though others see them.
No changes made to my laptop whatsoever. Macbook Air Mojave 10.14.6 - this happens with both safari and Firefox.
Presumably PPrune's boffins have recently changed something fundamental? How to get around this?

Just to offer another viewpoint: Firefox 113.0.1 on a MacBook Pro with Ventura 13.3.1(a) and everything works fine. I'm also running Ublock Origin and it doesn't seem to have an influence as I'm seeing both Youtube and Twitter additions to posts.

Me too (on PC rather than Mac) - plus Privacy Badger, still no problems seeing YT & TWT.

I'm still seeing the problem on 3 different Windows 10 machines running both Chrome and Firefox.

Out of interest, are the people who aren't seeing this issue generally logged into their browser (eg user a Google or Firefox account)?

I believe I am using a FF account to synchronise browsers across multiple devices, if that's what you mean. I'm not sure I see the relevance, though, as the FF account in question isn't used for wider authentication purposes.

However, I also use Edge for various purposes, and this usage doesn't log into anything. I have no problem seeing images, TWT and YT links using Edge.

I'm speculating what the link might be between those who don't see the problem and those who do. I don't have a theory .....

Silly thought, but do you log in with the 'remember me' box ticked or not? I always tick that box and this leads to a different, persistent, cookie. I was just wondering if this could influence the situation.
