Full inbox

Logging in, under "Private Messages" it says ;"Your PM box is full". Accessing the PM page, the other day, a red line filled the message box. I emptied. Red line changed to yellow. It says I have one unsent message and am allowed only one anyway (really ?). Inbox full. Tried "empty inbox",, asks for confirmation, I do that, but still can't get rid of the message. Blimey, getting an A340 from Bahrain to Manilla was easier than this !

Mate of mine, upon logging in gets a "Your inbox is full" even though he rarely receives or sends. Upon accessing, a wierd statement sayse he has one unread message and is allowed only one "sent" message (?). He has emptied the box where it says "full", is informed that that there are "0" messages but the inbox full message remains.

He just posted, on here, similar report but got a smart retort " Your message is subject to moderation before posting". Asked me for help but I am shtummed too.

You must also empty your sent messages

Thanks IBob. Gmac's first effort (subject to moderation) has now appeared. You will see that he did empty the sent messages.

Separately , he tried a couple of normal postings but again,subject to moderation is warned and the message was not published. He has also suffered a few take-downs on good ole Jetblast and is now very paranoid. A new level of gagging he protests .

Thanks fellas & Ibobi. Went throuugh the empty folder prompt again for both inbox & sent. This has now cleared the " Your PM box is 100% full " message under the login data. Both boxes now have a green bar through the box. It still suggests I have "0" messages fron "1" allowed. Only one allowed. Bit strange still. Less paranoid today though. Cheers.

"Subject to moderation" is now appearing on al GM's posts. I thought we were all subject to that anyway ? He just posted a thanks for info and even that has been subject to moderation before it goes up..Bit like a Warning letter or 'Watch your step matey". ??

You don't have to be a new member to have your post count reset to zero, invariably as a result of a transgression, at which point all the relevant effects come into force as noted in the sticky I referred to.
