What is the reason to restrict an access to PPRUNE from certain countries?

I asked tech to remove that restriction. Our 3rd-party security software, Cloudflare, had reason to believe a DDoS attack was about to occur.

Cyprus might be on the list. Access denied on the Jetblast forum only though. Bit odd. Best mate also denied access this morning. Probably more likely that we are both of the same mind, "truth seekers". but labled 'tin foil hat brigade' by same plonkers who are unable to articulate without recourse to vitreol. He did time in the PPr cells for offending someone on JB. I have been warned off from the Coronavirus thread and then heavily moderated on all other forums for a while.. Think this could be curtains for both of us.
