If you are on a mobile device and use the desktop skin, and zoom, this will happen. Use the mobile skin and it won't
The fact is that the value of the site is in the contributions by the posters. That is what gets the clicks. The site owners ride along with that and are able to facilitate this and then gain all the advertising revenue. But it's like a newspaper having free journalists. Because if it wasn't for the journalists' copy, nobody would read the paper, and nobody would then see the ads. So let's not pretend the contributors owe the site owners anything. In fact, the reverse is true.
That's my point; doing that is a nuisance. The old Go button was just sitting there, right where the end of the thread was, so to click back to the forum was easy. No so any more.
Adfender works well with IE11 and Win 7. It'll cost me a small amount, an amount I would be willing to donate to use Prune. But now I have all my browsing ads blocked.
Ads arte annoying butt hey pay for things-personally i think targeted digital ads are the next financial disaster area as they are so annoying that people will soon find ways around them and bingo no more revenue.
Badly laid out buttons like finding last page and reply are almost hidden at bottom of page with small buttons.
Overall layout is cleaner and softer and more modern whatever that means but all in all its the usual product of digital media , make a lot of changes and let the users find all the problems to save us spending cash on quality control and doing the job properly. Think for a moment Mr or Ms internet brands , the aviation industry does not work this way because peopel would die -here they will just get fed up and go somewhere else

message forum advertising
The moving high-byte ads are off-putting to this forum's demographic, particularly those off-topic to pilots and/or in video form. Readers might respond well to advertising in the form of simple and accurate-to-subject links.
i'm not keen - its same platform as flyertalk and a couple of railway forums
the one thing needed please is on the unmovable bottom margin we need a 'TOP' button - say next to forum jump so we can get back to the top the page PDQ
currently you have to scroll maybe a whole page up or down to get back to the TOP button which is currently located at the bottom of the threads but it is hidden unless fully scrolled to the last one - tedious

adblockers Equifax personal information
(long delay before quick reply accepts or shows the cursor bar required to make letters appear when tapping keys on the keyboard...What.....is......it......doing?)
An advertisement blocker would be another entity on my computer waiting to be hacked, disseminating the personal information of millions of users to unknow actors and saying "We didn't think that would happen." Then giving some free coverage by Equifax, which, in making application, attempts to collect more personal information than anyone else (so it can differentiate you from a hacker?)...and then itself is hacked and belches its records on a couple hundred million users.

My major irritant too on a Blackberry with Firefox
When I'm typing a reply, there is still a major lag between when I hit the key and when it shows up. That's bad enough, but sometimes the key strokes get recorded, other times they get lost. I can type fast normally, but now I have to type at the speed that the key strokes appear - which often takes several times as long to write something. Worse, half the time it crashes before I finish - if it wasn't for the auto-save restore I'd probably just say the heck with it and quit. I'm close to that as it is...

Had lots of issues with the latest Pprune. Have disabled the Infinite Scroll thing and things are nearly as good as the old version. Clearing the cache helped too. Using on a Win7 Chrome 38mbps connection.
Still unusable on my ancient Ipad on a hotel connection, so one less thing to look at downroute!
I understand that the website has to generate revenue from ads., but the right side bar is overkill.
