Good to know that the latest version worked for you guys, Big Tudor and herman. Notification of new app updates may be up to user settings in iTunes or on individual iOS devices, but we'll look into ensuring our updates are visible to users.

Any chance you can get the "last unread post" button working or add a "go to last post in thread" button?
It takes forever to scroll to last page of multipage threads and then scroll down.

Flying Bull, you should be able to view photos within the app (load times may vary based on hardware and connection speed). Do you experience otherwise, even after waiting for images to load?
I don't know if playing YouTube videos would be possible within the app, but I have put in an improvement request to our mobile development team. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hi CleelBe,
I found out about the images, that when I open a single answer in a thread, the images will be shown, which is a little bit different to surfing with a browser, where the pictures are displayed within the thread itself.
Because it works, no hassel needed.
Tx for your reply.

Won't let me view my profile on the iOS version.
Gives an error saying there's an issue between the app and my connection. Strange because everything else seems to work fine.

Just to make sure, by profile, do you mean this link?
http://www.pprune.org/members/385319-clearblueskyy
Also, which app and iOS versions are you using?
And are you saying that you can view threads/posts and other members' profiles fine, just not your own profile?

Downloaded the app and I have to say I liked it. I do, however, have a suggestion: Would it be possible to have a "Remember Me" type option at the login page so we don't have to type the username and password everytime we want to visit the forum?
Thanks!
Thanks!

clearblueskyy, I'll email you, since I'll be asking your for a screenshot, which is tough to manage through this interface.
Escape Path, thanks for the suggestion - I'll run it up the flagpole

The PPRuNe app may indeed may not be available to download in certain countries due to business reasons (whatever they may be).
Here's someone's workaround for that, though we have no idea of it works or if it's good, so try at your own risk:

Hi Claybird,
Thanks for the interest! It's a good question. Currently there are no plans for a dedicated iPad app, though that could change given sufficient interest. In the meantime, we suggest visiting the main site rather than using the mobile app on iPad

PPrune Not displaying correctly on ipad
For the last week or so, PPrune has not been displaying correctly on my ipad. I know it is not just me as one of my colleagues has had the same issue.
It is showing up all white, with no on screen buttons (new post, quote etc) and looks like a half loaded web page.
Has anyone got a solution??
