Hi,
Both should have PTV IFE with around 12 video channels plus a sky map and around 10? audio channels.
The B747-400 will be 3-4-3 in economy and the B777 will be 3-3-3
Regards

BA 777
Very nice indeed the 777, just avoid 39A-B, 39J-K and 40DEF. They are the back seats and don't recline. When the guy in front uses his full recline it causes discomfort, jealousy, and impossible to see the IFE screen without serious neck strain!

Hi 320JI,
There are several airport hotels nearby that offer reasonable rates and airport shuttles.
I've heard good words about the Airport Marriott but mixed reviews on the Hilton.

On the note of an exit asile....i understand these can't be pre reserved because you need to be fully fit etc etc... Is this true?
What are the best strategies to adopt to get them?
is it as simple as "get there early" or are there other more devious methods????
looking at the website where i booked the flight it appears very full .........although the current sniper situation may put people off

Hi 320JI,
Thanks. There are a wide number of reviews of Dulles (IAD) hotels on www.flyertalk.com
Click on Miles, scroll down to hotel forums , click on Hliton,Starwood, Marriott etc and search on Dulles/IAD.
As for getting an exit seat, getting there early will help, maybe having some status would also help.
Regards
