I flew it twice (as a pax) in Aug 1996 whilst doing my CPL, LHR-JFK-LHR. I was invited to the flight deck for landing in JFK, the crew were FANTASTIC, very kind and generous. I had won the tickets on a flight from London to Sydney a year earlier. The return flight was OK, the crew thought we were ID staff so didn't get the standard treatment. I remember the flight as quiet in the cruise, loud on take off and very smooth. The windows were small and hot to the touch while the seats were very comfortable. Breakfast outbound was fresh Maine lobster, yum.

And here is the ATC for the last BA Concorde departure from JFK. Some of the other planes waiting to take off asking if they could hold to watch Concorde leave.

Clearing out old files, I found this link to something called The Gentlemans' Journal - of which I know nothing - but it is not an airline website. The article is about the person who had the highest Concorde mileage.

I managed to fly on in a couple of times, LHR-NYC then a few days late back to LHR. Spent some time in the lounge with Dudley Moore, top bloke. Sat behind the Capt for landing in NYC. From memory it was mid August 1996. Best flight crew Ive ever come across

I always wanted to fly Concorde but never had the money to. By the time I inherrited some money that would have enabled me to buy a Concorde ticket, it had stopped flying.
It will therefore for ever be an unfulfilled wish of mine to fly on Concorde.
The closest I have now got is the "Brooklands experience"; younger daughter bought me a gift voucher a couple of years ago and one of the things it could be used for was entry to the Brooklands Museum. I paid to upgrade to include the "basic" experience which I can highly recommend; the seats have been done like what I think you call a 3D movie experience - they jolt as if the plane is going over the joints in the runway, you get the ambient noise etc, vibrations increase with speed then stop as Concorde "takes off" - all in all one of the most memorable days off work that I have ever taken.
The husband of my mum's best friend was one of the designers of Concorde, working for BAe. All those who worked on Concorde were given 2 pendants; my mum's friend gave her the second one and it's been passed to me

I've just stumbled upon another documentary of the last flight. It includes Sam Kohn in JFK Tower, who saw the first Concorde into JFK, and the last one out.

I haven't seen this mentioned on this thread so I'll just mention that there was a fabulous PPRUNE Tech Log thread about Concorde here. It starts with a fairly innocent technical question which then expands to over 2000 posts, many by those that flew or worked on Concorde.
If you want to browse that thread by subject I reorganised the posts here.

Also paulross reorganisation and cross-referencing is a labour of love and is really useful to get to the parts of the thread that you want.
